		abstract={The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of arm muscle explosive power and eye-hand coordination to the forehand clear ability of badminton in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Bangko, Rokan Hilir Regency. This type of research is correlational research. The population in this study were students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Bangko, Rokan Hilir Regency, totaling 31 people consisting of 20 boys and 11 girls. The sample used is male students only as many as 20 students. The instruments used were the standing Overhead medicine ball throw (forewards) test, the target throwing test, and the Badminton Clear Blow Test. Based on the calculation results obtained correlation index rx1y = 0.621. the value of rx2y = 0.544, and the double correlation value of rx1x2y = 0.662. The conclusions in this study are: 1) there is a significant contribution of arm muscle explosive power to the forehand clear ability of badminton by 38.6%. 2) There is a contribution of eye and hand coordination to the forehand clear ability of badminton game by 29.6%. 3) There is a significant contribution of arm muscle explosive power and hand-eye coordination together to the forehand clear ability of badminton game students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Bangko, Rokan Hilir Regency. The contribution is 43.8%.}
