		abstract={The type of this research is descriptive quantitative which aims to find out the factors that cause students' academic procrastination on economic subjects in class X IPS SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru and which factors are the most dominant. Subjects taken by researchers in this study were all students of class X IPS in teaching 2018/2019 at SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru, sampling using proportional random sampling techniques so that the subjects in this study amounted to 88 students. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire (Questionnaire). Based on the results of the analysis of the data obtained it can be concluded that (1) the factors that cause students' academic procrastination in economic subjects class X IPS SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru are divided into 2 namely internal factors namely the factors contained in individuals consisting of the individual's physical condition (60.85%) and the psychological condition of the individual (72.08%) as well as external factors that are factors that are outside the individual self, namely parenting style (44.20%) and environmental conditions (62.14%) . (2) the factors that cause students' academic procrastination in the economic subjects of class X IPS 10 of SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru are the most causes are internal factors with indicators of individual psychological conditions (72.08%).}
