		abstract={This study aims to determine and analyze how the competence of employees at PT. Arara Abadi Branch of Siak Regency. The population in this study were 42 employees in the production department and the entire population was sampled for this study using the Census method. This study uses descriptive analysis where analysis is carried out to assess the characteristics of a data where the researcher collects, classifies, analyzes, and interprets the data so that it can provide a clear picture of the problem under study. In this study, the employees who became respondents gave a positive response and the results showed that the employees already had excellent competence when viewed from the three aspects studied in this study, the employees were able to meet these criteria in a good scope, could it is said if the employees are considered capable of competing in the company. For this reason, the company and employees are expected to help and support each other for the creation of good employee competencies in order to achieve company goals.}
