		abstract={Geographically the research area is located at coordinates Latitude 0 0 33?20?? - 0 0 35?30?? North  and  Longtitude 101 0 28?30?? - 101 0 30?20?? East. The research is located in the district of valley sari and its surroundings, coastal tassel sub-district, Pekanbaru city. Aiming to examine and group the surface  manifestations found in the valley of the sari and surrounding areas, knowing the  chemical properties of quarterly deposits in the study area based on XRD analysis, knowing the distribution of quarterly deposits and minerals contained in them. The method used is location survey and then doing sieve analysis to find out the grain size, as well as conducting geochemical analysis in the form of XRD analysis. The distribution of grain size in the study area has 8 fine sand grains taken from the research area, and 4 samples of minerals found in the study area produced 84% quartz minerals, 16% kaolinite and 31% muscovite. , Producing 5 maps, namely maps of clay sediment distribution, sand deposition distribution maps, quartz mineral distribution maps, kaolinite mineral distribution maps, muscovite mineral distribution maps}
