Infeksi saluran pernapasan akut ditandai dengan berbagai gejala, dengan gejala tersering yaitu batuk. Terapi simptomatis batuk yang sering diberikan adalah ambroxol, asetilsistein, kodein dan guaifenesin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola peresepan obat batuk pada pasien anak dengan kasus infeksi saluran pernapasan akut terkait golongan obat, jenis obat, dan dosis obat di Rumah Sakit Gotong Royong Surabaya. Penelitian menggunakan data sekunder, yaitu data yang diambil dari rekam medis pasien yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian observasional non-eksperimental metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data secara retrospektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada 4 jenis obat batuk yang digunakan yaitu, ambroxol, asetilsistein, kodein, dan guaifenesin. Obat batuk yang paling banyak diresepkan adalah adalah ambroxol 30 mg 3x1 selama 4 hari (22 %).} }
