abstract={This study aims to determine the Optimization of the Electronic Finger System in Improving Employee Discipline at the Regional Secretariat Office of Gorontalo City. The research method uses a qualitative type. The results of the study show that the use of the Electronic Finger System in increasing employee discipline at the Gorontalo City Regional Secretariat Office is not optimal, this can be seen from communication and resources as indicated by employee understanding of the Electronic Finger System and the operator's ability to operate the Electronic Finger System. However, the disposition or attitude of employees is considered not optimal where there are still unscrupulous employees who come just to make attendance both at the time of arrival and at the time of going home but are not active in the office}
