		abstract={The study aims to determine the role of educators and parents in instilling courtesy and mutual respect in students at SDN 2 East Bulango, Bone Bolango Regency. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques in this study are through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the role of educators and parents in improving the attitude of courtesy and mutual respect has been running effectively. This can be seen from the four indicators of the role of the principal, such as exemplary indicators, indicators of responsibility, indicators of guidance and direction, and indicators of openness in communication. Based on the four indicators, the overall application has gone well. This is because the four indicators are inherent in the role of educators and parents in improving the attitude of courtesy and mutual respect in students. Apart from that, based on research conducted, an emotional approach is also one of the factors that can improve politeness and mutual respect among students. Not only in its role but in the determining factors for improving manners and mutual respect cannot be separated from these four indicators. Therefore, it is essential to cooperate with school residents, especially educators and parents, to improve the character of courtesy and mutual respect in students.}
