		abstract={THE INFLUENCE OF ASSET MANAGEMENT ON THE OPTIMIZATION THE FIXED ASSETS IN THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PALOPO
(Case Study at BPKAD Palopo city)
This study was conducted with the aim of obtaining empirical evidence related to the effect of asset management on the optimization of local government assets in Palopo City. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling method and obtained 35 respondents from the staff of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Office at BPKAD Palopo City. The population of this study is the party in authority and involved in the management of regional assets. In this case, it consists of the power holder for managing regional property, namely the regional head, regional asset manager, namely the regional secretary, the power user for goods, namely the head of the UPTD, SKPD goods manager, and all employees of the regional asset financial management office, all of which are 60 people Data analysis was carried out for data normality, classical assumptions and hypotheses. The results of testing the normality of the data and classical assumptions indicate that the data used in the study are normally distributed so that hypothesis testing with a simple regression model can be carried out. The results of this study indicate that asset management in optimizing fixed assets (land and buildings) is significantly affected.
