abstract={This study aimed to find out the relationship between self control and academic procrastination in students of SMA Negeri 6 Palopo. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPS. The sample was 76 students. This research was motivated by a phenomenon that appears during the school process where there are students who cannot manage their time properly, many students feel busy with a given task, tell stories and carry out other activities, a lot of time is used by students for nothing unimportant, so they are negligent in doing the assignments given by the teacher. The data collection technique used was a Likers scale questionnaire and documentation. The method used was a quantitative method with the type of research used was correlational research (relationship study). Based on the results of the rcount value of 0.361, therefore H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected because H1: > 0.05 and H0: ? 0.05. So there is a significant relationship between self-control and students' academic procrastination at SMA Negeri 6 Palopo.
