abstract={CV. Fun Sinar Jaya Mandiri is a company engaged in manufacturing that was founded in 2009, which produces various types of plastic cup products. The problems faced by CV. Fun Sinar Jaya Mandiri is currently paying less attention to the layout of production facilities, resulting in very long material transfer distances and how to shorten the material transfer distance. The purpose of this study is to propose improvements to the layout of production facilities so as to shorten the distance of material transfer. The method used in redesigning the layout of production facilities is Systematic Layout Planning. It is expected to expedite the production process and shorten the material handling distance. The results obtained in this layout redesign is to shorten the material transfer distance from 272.1 m to 90.7 m.}
