Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah ..."Apakah ada pengaruh konseling kelompok REBT terhadap self esteem siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Kabila Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konseling kelompok REBT terhadap self esteem siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Kabila Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Pre-experimental design dengan rancangan One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. Variabel bebas yaitu konseling kelompok REBT dan variabel terikat yaitu self esteem. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 8 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling.
Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretest self esteem 88.88 . skor tersebut menunjukkan nilai rata-ata dari siswa yang terindikasi memiliki self esteem negative. sementara nilai rata-rata posttest self esteem 115.00. Nilai rata-rata posttest menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan skor setelah pemberian treatmen. Sedangkan berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu thitung 16.590> ttabel 3,50 Dengan demikian berdasarkan hasil analisis data bahwa terdapat pengaruh konseling kelompok REBT terhadap self esteem siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Kabila Kabupaten Bone Bolango.
