Relationship between Parkinson Clinical Degree and Cognitive Impairment on Parkinson Patients by Using Montreal Cognitive Assesment of Indonesian Version (MoCA-Ina). The research aimed at investigating the relationship between Parkinson clinical degree and cognitive impairment by Using Montreal Cognitive Assesment of Indonesian Version (MoCA-Ina). The research used the cross-sectional study design on subjects of the Parkinson patients in the Neurological Policlinics of Wahidin Sudrohusodo Hospital and its network in Makassar from January to May 2013. On the research subjects, the cognitive function examination was carried out using the instrument of MoCA-Ina test. The research result indicates that the males are more than females who suffer from the Parkinson disease (67,6% vs 32,4%). There is no significant difference of relationship between the cognitive impairment and several risk factors, among others are, sex, are group, hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, dyslipidemia, disease duration, and depression. By the chi-square test, there is the significant relationship between the Parkinson clinical degree and the cognitive impairment, with the value of p 0,003. The cognitive elements which are mostly affected are the executive function and attention. The research indicates that the more severe the Parkinson disease clinical degree, the greater the cognitive impairment. Key-words: Parkinson, cognitive impairment, MoCA-Ina test} }
