		abstract={American Idolis a popular talent search in the United States of America. The purpose
of this study was to find out the Faculty of Language and Arts students? responses on
the American Idol show. In this study, the writer took a samples of 50 students in the
Faculty of Language and Arts. Out of 50 questionnaires distributed, only 30 students
returned the questionnaire. The questionnaires were related to elements existed in
American Idol show such as audition, host, judging, voting, participants? involvement, and video promotion. The results of the study show that American Idol
which consists of American Idol audition, American Idol show, and American Idol video promotion were interesting for the respondents because of factors involving in
the program like famous host, famous and professional judges, the quality of the talents, and interesting promotion.}
