		abstract={Twilight Series : New Moon is a novel about a love triangle story between two supernatural creatures, Edward Cullen the Vampire and Jacob Black the Werewolf, with a normal human girl, Bella Swan. Jacob Black is a Native American, who tries to win the heart of Bella and become the enemy of the Vampires which was portrayed by Edward Cullen. This novel is interesting because Native American characters rarely catch public’s attention. This thesis finds that the Native Americans as pictured by the Werewolves are stereotypical and are seen through the White American author. It is because the werewolf pack is pictured as animals and savages who lack education, in comparison to the vampire who represents the White American majority who are more educated and have better strategies to survive. The post-colonial approach of Ania Loomba is used to support Gramsci’s Hegemony theory of the ruling class versus the dominated class.}
