		abstract={Dalam industri jasa mutu pelayanan sangat berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap 
kepuasan pelanggan. Industri manufaktur dengan industri jasa memiliki karakter yang 
berbeda, begitu juga dengan pengukuran kualitas layanan yang dihasilkan. Ketidaktahuan 
perusahaan terhadap keinginan dan harapan pelanggan menyebabkan jasa jauh dari 
harapan yang diinginkan perusahaan yang akan mengakibatkan berpindahnya konsumen 
ke kompetitor yang akan memberikan layanan sesuai dengan harapan mereka. Maka 
penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan pengembangan layanan untuk penyewaan genset 
menggunakan motede Quality Function Deployment dengan harapan dapat memberikan 
gambaran tentang harapan konsumen terhadap produk yang dimiliki oleh CV Cahaya 
Teknik Nusantara. Hasil dari analisa Quality Function Deployment selanjutnya akan
dianalisa kelayakan investasi menggunakan metode Net Present Value, Payback Periode, 
Profitabilty Index, dan Average Rate Of Return untuk melihat apakah proyek tersebut 
layak atau tidaknya. Hasil dari analisa Quality Function Deploymentv nilai faktor skala 
tertinggi pada analisa menggunakan metode QFD urutan teratas adalah pada karakteristik 
?Menambah Kapasitas Genset 20 Kva? dengan nilai skor sebesar 185. Penambahan 
kapasitas genset 20 Kva yaitu menambah Genset Type Silent dengan kapasitas 20 Kva 
sebanyak 3. Dari segi analisa investasi mendapatkan nilai NPV Rp709.538.502, 
selanjutnya Payback Periode sebesar 1,158 tahun atau 14 bulan, Profitability Index yaitu 
5,827, dan Average Rate Of Return sebesar 30,5%

In the service industry, service quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction. 
The characteristics of the manufacturing industry and the service industry are certainly 
different, as well as the measurement of the quality of the services produced. The 
company's ignorance of customer desires and expectations causes services far from the 
expectations desired by the company which will result in moving consumers to 
competitors who will provide services in accordance with their expectations. So this 
research was conducted with the aim of developing services for generator rental using 
Quality Function Deployment motede with the hope of providing an overview of 
consumer expectations of products owned by CV Cahaya Teknik Nusantara. The results 
of the Quality Function Deployment analysis will then be analyzed for investment 
feasibility using the Net Present Value, Payback Period, Profitabilty Index, and Average 
Rate Of Return methods to see whether the project is feasible or not. The results of the 
Quality Function Deployment analysisv the highest scale factor value in the analysis 
using the QFD method the top order is on the characteristic "Adding 20 Kva Generator 
Capacity" with a score of 185. In terms of investment analysis, the NPV value is 
Rp709,538,502, then the Payback Period is 1.158 years or 14 months, the Profitability 
Index is 5.827, and the Average Rate Of Return is 30.5%.}
