		abstract={Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan 
kognitif dalam cara berfikir logis pada usia 4-5 tahun yang 
masih rendah. Masih rendahnya kemampuan kognitif 
dalam berfikir logis disebabkan oleh kurangnya 
pemanfaatan Alat Permainan Edukatif yang ada di
sekolah, Guru sebatas menggunakan LKA (Lembar Kerja 
Anak) sehingga kurang menarik minat dan perhatian anak 
terhadap materi yang diberikan oleh guru. Tujuan yang 
ingin dicapai pada penelitian ini untuk mengetahui 
pengaruh media rumah pintar terhadap kemampuan 
kognitif anak usia 4-5 tahun di RA El Rahmah Surabaya. 
Perkembangan kognitif dalam penelitian ini adalah 
memasang benda sesuai fungsingnya, mengenal konsep 
warna primer (merah, kuning, hijau), mengelompokkan
berbagai benda serta menghubungkan nama benda dengan 
tulisan sederhana.
Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Pre?Eksperimental One Group Pretest-Postest Design dengan
sampel sejumlah 20 anak usia 4-5 tahun di RA El Rahmah

Surabaya. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi 
partisipatif. Hasil analisis data mendapatkan nilai t-hitung 
adalah sebesar 26,66 sementara indeks t-tabel adalah 
1.72913 untuk taraf signifikansi 0,05, dan 2.53948 untuk 
taraf signifikansi 0,01 maka Hipotesis Nol (H0) ditolak, 
Hipotesis Kerja (H1) diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan 
bahwa ada pengaruh dari media rumah pintar terhadap 
perkembangan kognitif anak usia 4-5 tahun di RA El 
Rahmah Surabaya.

This research is motivated by the cognitive 
abilities in how to think logically at the age of 4-5 years 
which are still low. The low level of cognitive abilities in
logical thinking is caused by the lack of use of educational 
game tools in schools, teachers only use LKA (children's 
worksheets) so that they do not attract children's interest 
and attention to the material provided by the teacher. The 
goal to be achieved in this study is to determine the effect 
of smart home media on the cognitive abilities of children 
aged 4-5 years at RA El Rahmah Surabaya.
Cognitive development in this study is assembling objects 
according to their function, recognizing the concept of
primary colors (red, yellow, green), grouping various 
objects and associating the names of objects with simple 
writing.This study used a Pre-Experimental One Group 
Pretest-Postest Design with a sample of 20 children aged 
4-5 years at RA El Rahmah Surabaya. Data was collected 
by participatory observation techniques. The results of

data analysis obtained the t-count value of 26.66 while the 
t-table index was 1.72913 for a significance level of 0.05, 
and 2.53948 for a significance level of 0.01, so the Null 
Hypothesis (H0) was rejected, the Working Hypothesis 
(H1) was accepted so that it can be concluded that there is 
an influence from smart home media on the cognitive 
development of children aged 4-5 years at RA El Rahmah 
Surabaya.}
