		abstract={This study aims to analyze the Absorption of Labor in the Trade Sector in Jambi Province. The data used is time series data for 2000-2021. The data is sourced from the Jambi Province Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the Jambi Province Manpower and Transmigration Office and the Jambi Province One-Stop Services Office. Data were analyzed by means of multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that partially the Provincial Minimum Wage, Education Level, GRDP and Total Workforce have a significant effect. The variable number of industrial companies in this study did not have a significant effect on employment in Jambi Province. Simultaneously all these independent variables have a significant influence on employment absorption in Jambi Province.
