		abstract={Free radicals are molecules that lose one or more electrons from a free electron pair which causes the radicals to be unstable and easily react with other molecules to form new radicals and can attack body cells. In counteracting free radicals, it needs antioxidant. Antioxidant act as hydrogen radical donors and as free radical acceptors. Utilization of natural ingredients as an alternative to antioxidant can reduce the side effects of synthetic antioxidants which can be detrimental to health if used it in the long term. Lipstick palm  is a medicinal plants that has antioxidant activity. This study aims to determine the antioxidant activity of crude extract, liquid-liquid extraction, fractionate, sub-fractionate and positive control (?-tocopherol) using the DPPH method with 5 concentration variations and 3 repetitions. The results of the antioxidant activity test show that the fractionate and subfractionate have strong antioxidant activity.}
