		abstract={This term-paper discusses about annotated translations. Annotated translation is  a note that made by a translator to make it easier for the reader. This term-paper used a novel as an object. The candidate reader is for teenagers used Needs Analysis/Audience Design. According to the research finding, there are 67 annotated translations. The method and procedure of translations by A Text Book of Newmark is applied to analyze annotated translations in this novel. The writer of this research used Communicative Method and Idiomatic method to obtain acceptable translation for the reader. Then used six techniques (procedures) of translation that is Transposition, Modulation, Desctiptive Equivalent, Cultural Equivalent, Contextual Conditioning, and Couplets to analyse the annotated translation. This term-paper is using The Silent Corner Novel by Dean Koontz, a novel which has word, phrase, sentence and the other that is difficult to understand the meaning for the reader.}
