		abstract={This term paper discusses literary work, a film. The discussion is about the
reflection of internal conflict and death instinct by applying two approaches;
intrinsic and extrinsic approaches. Through the intrinsic approach, the concepts are:
characterization using showing method, setting, and plot. For the extrinsic
approaches, the concepts are: internal conflict and death instinct. This term-paper
discusses about the reflection of internal conflict and death instinct on a doctor after
a robbery tragedy which caused the death of his wife and his daughter to comatose
state as the main character in this film. This term paper is a variety of qualitative
research, types of library research, interpretative analysis using the method by
collecting data in the form of scenes and dialogues in the Death Wish film as the
main source and supported by several references from books, journals and
literatures that related to theory and concepts as the second source.}
