		abstract={This research aims to analyze the causes contained in the film Cruella by using several theories such
as Ambition, Revenge, and Cognitive Dissonance. In Ambition theory, it is intended to find out what
motives are the main character's goal. The second theory, namely Revenge, is intended to find out
the cause of the intense anger. And the third theory, is Cognitive Dissonance, is intended to find out
what are the factors that cause Estella as the main character to experience inner turmoil and change
her identity.  The formulation of the problem in this thesis is 1) What is the analysis of the intrinsic
approach to the main character in the film Cruella? 2) What is the plot analysis in the script of the
movie Cruella?  3) What is the setting function in the analysis of the Cruella movie script? 4) What
is the analysis of cognitive dissonance regarding the ambition and revenge of the main character
through the extrinsic approach in the film Cruella? This research uses qualitative methods to analyze
some solved events. The object of this study is the script of the film "Cruella" (2021), a film written
by Craig Gillespie and Dana Fox. This research resulted in the findings of factors that caused a
character who had only ambitions and then turned into a grudge to experience cognitive dissonance
was due to someone's actions that made her lose the only person she loved. The results of this study
