		abstract={This term paper describes the theme of literary works by using a novel form of intrinsic
and extrinsic approaches. Through the intrinsic approach there are applied concepts: 
characterization, setting, and plot. Through the extrinsic approach there are applied 
concepts: the history of feminism and the author's biography. This term paper is 
qualitative research with the literature study in interpretative characteristic combined 
with the data collecting methods in a form of literary text from a novel titled, 
Disclosure by Michael Crichton as a primary source and is supported by some 
literatures related to the theories, concept and definition as a secondary source.}
