		abstract={This study will highlight students? ability in using drama to teach English, describing both the benefits and potential deficiency of applyingdrama in the classroom. English proficiency exams and classroom observations were used to gain the data. The outcomes demonstrated that the use of drama to assess participants' language abilities, particularly communicative ones like interaction and discussion and produced higher proficiency levels as a result of motivating them to be more engaged in the learning process.There are several lessons that can be concluded from this research process, such as the responsibility that students show and the courage to carry out their duties .}
