@thesis{thesis, author={Bellinda Merryca and Bikarindrasari Rini and NEDIA }, title ={PERBEDAAN KEBOCORAN MIKRO RESIN KOMPOSIT BULKFILL PADA KAVITAS KELAS V DENGAN TEKNIK PENYINARAN KONVENSIONAL DAN SOFT START (RAMP CURE)}, year={2019}, url={https://repository.unsri.ac.id/9657/}, abstract={Bulkfill composite resin is a composite resin with one direct placement which is light-activated that can achieve maximum depth up to 4 mm. Microleakage in composite resin can be affected by the curing technique used. The aim of this study was to determine the microleakage differences of bulkfill composite resin on class V cavities using conventional and soft start (ramp cure) curing technique. This study was a quasi experimental study with total sample of 28 maxillary premolar teeth, prepared by class V cavities. Samples were divided into two groups, group 1 used conventional curing technique and group 2 used soft start (ramp cure) curing technique. Samples were stored in an incubator for 24 hours (370C), then 100 cycles of manual thermocycling were performed at 50C and 550C. Samples were immersed in 1% methylene blue solution for 24 hours (250C) and then sectioned in sagittal direction by using separating disc. Digital USB Microscope was used to measure the microleakage. Mean results of the microleakage measurement showed in group 1 and 2 were 1.821 mm and 1.343 mm respectively. Analyzed data by independent t-test has shown that there were significant differences on microleakage of bulkfill composite resin on class V cavities using conventional and soft start (ramp cure) curing technique (p<0,05). Conclusion of this study has shown that there were differences on microleakage of bulkfill composite resin on cavities class V between the conventional and the soft start (ramp cure) curing technique where the soft start has shown less microleakage than conventional.} }
