		abstract={The decision support system for determining beneficiaries of uninhabitable housing development to help the Public Housing Agency, Settlement and Land Area of Manggarai Regency to facilitate and accelerate the process of assessing housing conditions of prospective recipients and to determine eligible recipients to get housing assistance. The method used in this decision support system is the simple additive weighting (SAW) method, where the basic concept of this method is to find a weighted sum from the performance rating on each alternative on all attributes. The criteria used include foundation, sloof conditions, column/pole conditions, beam conditions, and building material component aspects which consist of roof material, roof conditions, wall material, wall conditions, floor material, and floor conditions. The final result of this decision support system is a desktop-based application designed using microsoft visual studio 2008 and Microsoft Access 2007 as a database. Recipients recommended for new development (home) have a preference value (V) = 1. Recipients recommended for improving home quality have a preference value (V) = 0.781, while those that are not recommended to receive assistance have a preference (V) = 0.233.}
