		abstract={The formulation of the problem in this study is 1) What is the effect of the minimum wage on employment in the city of Kupang?, 2) How does the GRDP affect the absorption of labor in the city of Kupang?, 3) What is the effect of investment on employment in the city of Kupang?, 4 ) What is the effect of the minimum wage, GRDP and investment on employment in the city of Kupang?. The research objectives were 1) to determine the effect of the minimum wage on employment in the city of Kupang, 2) to determine the influence of GRDP on employment in the city of Kupang, 3) to determine the influence of investment on employment in the city of Kupang, 4 ) to determine the influence of the minimum wage, GRDP and investment on employment in the city of Kupang. The analysis technique used is quantitative analysis with data collection methods through documentation and literature. The results of this study obtained partially the minimum wage variable (X1) with t count of 3.555 > t table of 2.178 and a probability value of 0.00 < t table of 2.178 and a probability value of 0.56 > 0.05 has a positive and not significant effect on employment in the city of Kupang and the investment variable (X3) with t count of -0.255 < 2.178 and a probability value of 0 .80 > 0.05 has a negative and insignificant effect on employment absorption in the city of Kupang. Simultaneously the variables minimum wage (X1), GRDP (X2) and investment (X3) have a positive and significant effect on employment absorption in the city of Kupang with an calculated F value of 40.96 > 3.74 and a probability value of 0.000 < 0.05 . The conclusion is that partially the minimum wage variable has a positive and significant effect on employment in Kupang city, the GRDP variable has a positive and insignificant effect on employment absorption in Kupang city, while the investment variable has a negative and insignificant effect on employment absorption in Kupang city.}
