		abstract={Today?s information technology has been improved significantly in many aspects of life. Information technology is also required to support theological
aspect, especially Biblical education. The purpose of this study is to facilitate people with an application and database to help them learn Bible?s history easier.
This thesis discusses the database management and information retrieval. The database management use semistuctured data with the approach of relational data
model. Knowledge base method will be used to fill the problem domain, then to set up the rule. If the rules are already made then the rules will be implemented in
the application. It has the ability to provide and add integrated information regarding event and people in the Old Testament period especially about the kings, prophets, and priests. After developing Biblical study application, testing is performed by inputting data. Based on testing result, it can be concluded that semistructured data can be applied into Database Management System and Knowledge Base System could
generate information about people that lived coeval. Beside that, people that have year attribute affects the information retrieval.}
