		abstract={The purposes of this research were to find out the students reading
comprehension of legend and to find out the students problems in reading
comprehension of legend at the third semester. The methodology of this research
was qualitative research. The samples of this research consist of 33 students.
 The instruments of this research were used the test and interview. The
analysis, can be concluded the students reading comprehension of legend at third
semester of English Study Program University of Pasir Pengaraian is good
category and the result showed that there were some problems in reading
comprehension of legend, they have lack of vocabulary, difficult in explaining the
elements of legend, in understanding the definition and mentioning sub elements
of plot, in finding of rising action, falling action, climax, in finding of character
protagonist and antagonist, and in finding of plot.}
