		abstract={The research discusses the kinds of word coinage in boxing match found in internet and the meanings of the terms resulted from word coinage in boxing match found in internet.
This research applies on descriptive method to analyze the data. This method uses some steps; there are collecting, classifying, and analyzing the data.The research uses descriptive method because the data are described systematically. To formulate the analysis, the writer used library research including the internet browsing to support the data. While the data applied in this research all the boxing terms found in internet, especially in http://www.fightnews.com/. The theory of morphology, morphemes, word coinage, acronymy, compounding, invention, derivation and blending are used to analyze the data.
In this research, the total number of word coinage in boxing match which are found in internet are 36 terms. The word coinage in boxing match which are classified as acronyms are 9 terms (25%), compounds are 18 terms (50%),invention are 4 terms (11,1%), derivation are 4 terms (11,1%) and blends is 1 term (2,8%). The meaning of theterms resulted from word coinage which are discussed by the researcher are the name of boxing organization, the class level in boxing match, the kind of punches in boxing match, the causes of lose in boxing match and the fouls in boxing match.}
