The expert system generates conclusion, information and control solutions from coffee pests and plant diseases based diagnostic symptoms appear. In the diagnosis of plant pests and diseases of coffee needed a coffee plant expert, but an expert can not make a diagnosis in every place and at any time when needed. In addition to using the services of an expert is required costly. Then be made to an expert system which can diagnose the symptoms of plant pests and diseases of coffee by modeling Backward Chaining. Backward Chaining chosen because this method is easy to understand and easy to implement for the diagnosis of plant pests and diseases copies of the symptoms that occur based on validation data from the experts.
