		abstract={Based on Data Mining concept, pile of medical records can produce decision tree on pattern classification of disease groups with categories: age, sex, and region of residence. The purpose of this study is to do testing on the pattern classification of disease groups. The type of this research is Quantitative Analytic with cross-sectional approach. This study was done by analyzing disease classification of inpatients in Jember Klinik Hospital in accordance with the criterias: age, sex, and domicile on decision tree, then it was done Z statictical test.Sample used is total sampling of patients data with coding A00-B99, I00-I99, O00-O99, P00-P96, S00-T98, Z00-Z99 that located in Jember , that are 2149 data. The result of this study is the value of |Zscore| = 0.00781076 < |Ztable ? = 0.05| = 1.96, so that Ho is accepted. It means, significantly, there is no difference between pattern classification method of disease groups and code ICD on medical record data of Jember Klinik Hospital. Advices given, are: 1) This classification method can be utilized by Jember Klinik Hospital and other hospital in helping estimation of disease explanation and plan addition health facilities 2) Plan of action for Jember Klinik Hospital is to add the hospital facilities especially to patient with infectious and parasitic diseases.}
