Abstract :
The power plant works by utilizing the existing water vapor to drive a turbine that will generate energy from a turbine wheel lsitrik which would then be stored in the generator. As for the difficulty of the operation of this power plant, among others, a lack of understanding of the users that are difficult to understand about the process that occurs when an operation and the calculation gain power. By utilizing the existing simulation is expected to facilitate the user in understanding something abstract more concrete. This study aimed to develop a computer program to generate a simulation application. This study uses a multimedia development, and then implemented into a computer program to aid in the simulation of the operation of steam power plant (power plant). The results of this study are computer programs with Microsoft Visual Basic 6 programming language in the form of simulation applications that are used to determine the operation of the simulation process steam power plant (power plant).
