Abstract :
Efficiency is the ratio between output (output power) and input power input. The size of the efficiency generated by the transformer can be influenced by the size of the loading, and is influenced by the total losses in the form of core losses and copper losses contained in the transformer. These transformer losses cause differences in input power and output power. The greater the losses - losses generated on the transformer, the greater the power loss on the transformer. The output power released to the transformer with a total loss of 48102,674 kW, while the efficiency obtained at the highest load in May was 99.79% and for June it was 99.79%, this thesis aims to determine the efficiency of the transformer contained in Tangerang Lama Substation.
