Abstract :
The issue about quality of the electricity in the power system need a full attention. Poor quality power will do a lot of harm to both power and customer companies. One problem with quality of electricity is either harmonic or harmonicia. Measuring electric energy can be done by using the KWH meters because it is thought to have a good degree of accuracy. Because harmonics caused by nonlinier loads, measurement can be affected. To find out how much harmonic?s impact on measuring accuracy analog meter and therefore research on harmonic?s impacton accuracy. The method of this study uses the quantitative method of research, because the research data is presented in numbers. Data is obtained by testing analog metres using LED loads, LHE, laptops, PC and projectors. Thus, it?s got a test result for the LHE end LED for measuring %THDi by 94,07% and result in measuring errors of 42,5% while for testing with laptop load, PC and projectile, the measured result of measurement %THDi by 29,79% and results in a 10% error of the measurement. In what way is how to sized the biggest problem. To reduce the value of %IHDi a passive filter design is set up. In experiments with LED loads and LHE filters designed to reduce the value of %IHDi order 3 from 74.54% to 8.5% while in the second experiment using laptop, PC and projector loads can reduce the value of %IHDi order 3 from 22.51 % to 8.35%.
