Abstract :
Medium voltage network system on primary distribution with a voltage 20kV supplied from substation is a distribution system that is used for demander with high electrical power needs such as the industrial sector with ground cable channels. In a medium voltage network, system protection is needed to secure the network from interruption. One of the interruption from electrical power system is symphatetic trip. Symphatetic trip caused by one line to ground fault which is increase the capacitive current of the normal feeder. Symphatetic trip will occur if working time of ground fault relays are smaller than capacitive current on the feeder. If symphatetic trip is triggered, it will prove that one of protective terms such as selectivity isn?t proved. In this final paper the writer indicated the problem of symphatetic trip on 15/03/2017 ; 02/03/2018 and 03/07/2018 and 2019 with unknown problem. In the result of this finale paper the rated of capacity current on the feeder will never caused symphatetic trip, it?s because the rated of capacity current is lower than the value of current primer from ground relay on the healty feeder.
