Abstract :
In order to meet the increasing need for electricity in Indonesia, it is necessary to build a long-term power plant by utilizing the potential of renewable energy, namely water energy. This thesis will discuss the investment feasibility study on the Jatigede 2X55 MW hydroelectric power plant project using the Capital Budgeting Technique method. From the research, the operation of the plant can produce an average power of 110 MW, an annual total energy of 755,664 GWh, a peak load of 200,750 GWh and a base load of 555,914 GWh. Economic and financial calculations were made with the resulting WACC of 9.22%. This indicates that the project is categorized as feasible with a discount factor greater than WACC of 12%. The results of economic calculations, obtained NPV worth USD 30,930,452, IRR 15.38%, BCR 1,180, PBP 5 years 9 months, and financial calculations obtained NPV worth USD 24,625,400, IRR 16%, PBP 12 years 10 months ROE 36, 27%, ROI 11%. At the level of project sensitivity there are three conditions. First, investment costs + 10% obtained NPV worth 20,267,766, IRR 15%, PBP 11 years 10 months, ROE 27.53%, ROI 8.66%, secondly, income costs -10% obtained NPV worth 4,811,647, IRR 13%, PBP 14 years 4 months, ROE 7.19%, ROI 2.02%, third, discount rate + 3%, obtained NPV worth USD 3,315,384, IRR 16%, PBP 13 years 1 month, ROE 4 , 95%, ROI 1.48%. Based on the calculation results, the Jatigede hydropower project was declared economically and financially feasible.
