Abstract :
Sun is an energy source that can be use as electricity power source. The sun is available in very large quantities, does not cause pollution, renewable and obtained for free. Utilizing sun as electricity power by using the sun radiation as a renewable energy thru Solar Power Plant system. Currently at Salemo Island solar power plant has 792 solar panels with 150 kWp of total capacity that works for 8 hours a day, by that condition causing the solar power plant system can?t fulfill the costumers needs of energy for 24 hours that has 1440 kWh of estimated load. The purpose of this study is to design solar power plant system that can fulfill the whole customer needs of energy for 24 hours. The plan to increase the power of this solar power system, there will be 810 additional solar panels with 304 kWp of total capacity so that the solar power plant can fulfill the needs of electrical energy for 24 hours in Salemo Island.
