Abstract :
Distribution lines have a very important role in the process of distributing electricity from the substations to the customer. In the process of distributing electricity, with use of SUTM (Medium Voltage Air Line) cables is prone to periodic or permanent short circuit interruptions. To avoid extending the blackout area due to short circuit interference, a recloser protection device is installed in the SUTM network. Installation of protection devices on the side of the network must be coordinated with protection devices located at the substation so that the protection devices can work well. The method is used to determine coordination of recloser with relay (OCR) and (GFR) for protection of Komisaris Feeder Area Cikupa is through time and flow adjustments on the 20 kv incoming, outgoing, and recloser side. Based on the conductor, transformers, and short-circuit current data, the TMS value settings for reclosers, outgoing, incoming 20 kV OCR relays were 0.19, 0.37, 0.23, respectively. And for GFR reclosers, outgoing, incoming 20 kV, respectively 0.1, 0.22, 0.36.
