Abstract :
Unit 4 and 5 steam power plant that have been operating since1979 at Pembangkit Muara Karang, which is the subunit of PT. Pembangkit Jawa Bali (PJB) has 200MW capacity for each unit. There are essentials equipments in each power plants that always needs the power supply whenever the blackout happens. The Emergency Diesel Generator is the number one back up system when the blackout happens. This served to avoid any damage that might occurs by keeping the essential equipments from getting the power supply. In the calculation, the Emergency Diesel Generator with 500 kVA capacity can supplied 459.1217 kVA of the essential equipments. Based on the diesel table, the Emergency Diesel Generator can supply the essential equipment for 9 hours 22 minutes by using the 1000 L capacity of daily fuel ta
