Abstract :
PT. Tadmansori Perkasa is an industrial consumen group 3 in PT. PLN (PERSERO) UP3 Bekasi where it so many motor that was operated in this factory and make the value of power factor drop far from the standard value from PLN. This is not only affects the electricity system but also influences it financially because PT. PLN sets the rule for excess kVARh usage, which is 0.62 from the kWh value.To overcome the problems that arise due to the low power factor, capacitors are installed. The installation of this capacitor affects the reactive power which will decrease the value of the kVAR.So by installing capacitors there are no kVARh fines to be paid and can save electricity costs. Therefore it is necessary to install 3 phase capacitors with delta circuits with capacitor capacities of 77,98986 kVARand the capacitor we will installed is 80 kVAR that was produce by manufacturing so that way we must installed 80 kVAR with delta circuit and work voltage is 400VAC.The investment in installing these capacitors will benefit PT. Tadmansori Perkasa because it only has a value of 0.17 years payback period
