Abstract :
The increase of demand for electrical energy are triggered by human lifestyles and economic growth. This increase needs to be accompanied by the availability of electricity supply and adequate distribution capacity. The higher the electricity demand, the greater the loads borne by the substation transformer. In this research, the forecasts will be made for the growth of load of the New Tangerang substation power transformer for 2019 to 2023 using multiple linear regression methods. The load growth forecasts are influenced by variables such as the amount of GRDP and the amount of installed power. These forecasts calculation are then analyzed against the power transformer capacity. From the calculation results it is known that in 2019 the transformer 1 load is 44.21 MW; transformer is 2 41.72 MW; transformer 3 is 39.45 MW; and transformer 4 is 44.80 MW. In 2023 the load increasing, so the load of transformer 1 is 53.15 MW; transformer 2 is 49.10 MW; transformer 3 is 48.68 MW; and transformer 4 is 52.14 MW. In 2023, transformer 1 and transformer 4 are expected to overload with a percentage of load transformer 1 is 104.21 % and transformer 4 is 102.24%, while transformer 2 still charged at 96,27% and transformer 3 at 95.45% of their capacity.
