Abstract :
Along with the increasing electrical energy needs, it is required to be able to increase the reliability of electric power networks, namely the continuity of electrical energy distribution to customers can be maintained. Therefore a protection system is needed to maintain the reliability of the electric power system when delivering electrical energy. Recloser is one of the safety equipment that can detect overcurrent due to interference between the phase with the phase and ground phase, where the recloser can disconnect the current and close automatically so that it can minimize the interference area of the feeder. Based on the recloser trip analysis in feeders can be seen if there is a disturbance after the recloser where the recloser cannot back up the interference quickly so that the feeder returns trip. This is because the recloser coordination arrangement is not optimal, with overcurrent relay settings and relay land disturbances on outgoing, incoming and recloser, it needs to be calculated and reviewed, so that data is obtained, namely outgoing short circuit currents at OCR = 12485.50716A and GFR = 953.3548 A, TMS PMT arrives at OCR = 0.2805, t = 1.3337 s and GFR = 0.379, t = 1,017 s. TMS PMT is outgoing on OCR = 0.4401, t = 0.7926, and GFR = 0.2658, t = 0.7138 s. PMT recloser TMS at OCR = 0.1906, t = 0.3432 s, and GFR = 0.112, t = 0.3007 s, so that it can be seen the recloser work curve that works earlier than outgoing and incoming. so that it is expected that the recloser's performance can be optimal for the feeder and there is coordination of good work with the relay on the outgoing side
