Abstract :
Dependence on the use of conventional power plants in various regions in Indonesia is still very much, the same as in Raha, Southeast Sulawesi. Given the depletion of petroleum reserves in the world, it will sooner or later stop the operation of the power plant because of the availability of fuel which is depleting and even depleted. To overcome this, a solution is needed, namely by planning the construction of a Hybrid Power Plant between PLTS 20 Kwp and PLTD Renewable Energy 50 Kw with waste pellets. The average annual solar radiation in Raha is 5.18 Kwh/m2 so, PLTS is very feasible to use in Raha. The energy produced annually in this Hybrid Power Plant is 189,070 kwh/year with the consumption of waste pellet fuel annually at 61,130.2 kg/year and diesel at 6,111,925 liters/year. There is a reduction in diesel consumption compared to conventional PLTD. Based on the results of the economic analysis obtained, this Hybrid Power Plant is feasible for development.
