Abstract :
ABSTRACT The distribution system is one of the systems in the electric power system that has an important role because it deals directly with the users of electrical energy. Generally, the quality power distribution in terms of the quality of voltage received by consumers. Some solutions are used to overcome voltage drop, including addition of a new feeder, inserting a transformer, changing type or size of conductor, installing a capacitor and increasing the source voltage. This thesis discusses the problem that occur in Walikukun feeder.The solution used is addition a new feeder to reduce the voltage drop. The results of the voltage drop after the simulation on the condition of existing walikukun feeder are 12.75% at middle and 21.74% at tip. The result first configuration, Voltage drop at Walikukun feeder are 1.07% at middle and 1.58% at tip, and for Walikukun 2 feeder are -0.08% at middle and 7.24% at tip. The results of the simulation voltage drop in the second configuration at Walikukun feeder are 0.47% at middle and 2.96% at tip, for Walikukun 2 feeder are -0.14% at middle and 2.63% at tip. Based on the simulation results, the second configuration becomes the reconfiguration solution for the Walikukun feeder.
