Abstract :
Transformer is one of the vital objects in the transmission line system. And it is important to take care of the equipment from interference. Aging of transformer itself can be reduced as a result of several factors one of them loading transformer. In a practice the power transformer in the substation could be excessive burden, remember as a result of load transfer maneuver in the distribution system. Besides growth in the current era of electricity is increasing, causing descreasing equipment life due to the greater loading. The purpose of this study to predict the life of the transformer as a result of the increased of loading each year. This research uses quantity method. The source of the data used is loading transformer and the ambient temperature at the transformer substation #8 Pulogadung. Based on data analysis, we concluded that the aging of transformer affected by accretion expense (MW), the increase in the Hot-Spot Temperature and Temperature Top-Oil. Based on the loading maxsimum of the year 2016, 2017, 2018 and calculate loading forecasts at 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 in the follow RUPTL PLN 2019-2028 as result transformer #8 GIS New Pulogadung remain 4,67 year with a maximum of loading 40,421 MW.
