Abstract :
Multimedia applications to assist in teaching children is now very sophisticated, but unfortunately in practice mentor is still conventional in presenting the material even though it uses the concept of a true multimedia aims to complement, assist, and facilitate. For example, the introduction of an object they still use physical objects and asked to feel with their senses, and recite the words of the objects from their mentor. And yet there is a class of multimedia objects like this in the introduction. Multimedia there used to help learn to read. To complement the existing multimedia concept that the methodology used was to observe and analyze what needs to be equipped from existing ones, which is adapted from methods Luther - Sutopo. Starting from conception, then proceed with the design phase, then collecting materials for completeness of the application, followed by the making of the application and to the introduction of the program application testing phase of this blocks. The blocks recognition applications apply some basic understanding of the concepts beams are packed with multimedia. There was the introduction of the beam with 3 sides and 6 sides. After the beams, another object will be introductioning is tube object that will be introductioning by the feature as the same with the beams before. Parents can guide children to express the results of his imagination through stories, pictures, or in writing, which can be creatively developed with the concept of multimedia
