Abstract :
PT. PLN (PERSERO) is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) that has full authority in maintaining continuity in the distribution of electricity supply to customers. One of the main performance indicators of reliability in the distribution system is called SAIDI & SAIFI. One of the problems that often occurs is in the ground cable for medium voltage systems or commonly called SKTM (medium voltage cable channel) caused by external and internal interference. This is certainly a challenge to reduce the amount of interference so that it can improve the reliability of the distribution system. Factors causing internal disturbances in underground cables are usually caused by partial discharge activities. PT. The Marunda UP3 PLN (PERSERO) utilizes a cable assessment to maintain the reliability of the medium voltage power system distribution, especially in the SKTM cable, because it is necessary to detect the condition of the operating cable. This cable assessment uses the standard PUSLITBANG parameters. After knowing the condition of the cable, PLN must follow up on the condition of the cable in the category of damage, which is good, degradation, bad and critical.
