Abstract :
Differential relay transfomer protection itself is the main power that does work without coordination with other rele is the nature of differential relay itself that is very selective and fast in overcoming disorder. It has this differential relay safety area bounded by the installation of a current transformer (CT). Differential relay here to find out the performances of the relay so done tuned differential relay of reckoning in theory by taking data in the substation angke slope1 30% and slope2 100%.Then performed the calculations theory with regard to the value error mismatch 0,225%, percent the CT 10%, security factor 5%, the excitation current 1%, and accuracy of the relay 11,76%, obtained slope 1 as much as 30% and slope2 as much as 60% with regard to some aspects so that the slope known percent and recovered the current suit 1,5 A. The setting of main station angke by calculation not too similar testing done as using software 87t by sumandari used data on testing and data and setting the field slope or trip on testing 4 in phase on R , S and not trip on the phase T due to a fault current less of a current setting so that does not make relay work .This proved differential relay work to that zone of security and reduce trip in the external.
