Abstract :
At the substation transformer Lama Tangerang required a protection system in accordance with the requirements in order to maintain continuity of electricity power lines extended. Protection systems must meet the requirements that is safe or stable, sensitive, reliable, fast and selective so that it can work in accordance with its function as a safety in case of disruption. If the requirements are not met, it can cause damage or outages comprehensive tool that can cause decreased performance and age transformer. This final project discusses the current setting is on the side of the incoming and outgoing substation in Tangerang Lama. Relay adjustment values obtained short circuit fault current 3 phase, is 12592.148 A by setting time of 0.67 seconds and 0.29 seconds incoming side on the outgoing side. If interference occurs overcurrent protection on the outgoing side into the ultimate safety and incoming side as backup protection while outgoing side fail to work.
