Abstract :
The main aim of this study of this system is that it can not happen deficiency or excess stock , what problems arise and how to design an appropriate inventory system as proposed issues on inventory in the warehouse activities UD.Cahaya Surya . Problems such as shortages and excess stock. To get new inventory system Opera- then performed the analysis and design of systems in the inventory system that runs the use of safety stock with Tsukamoto method and using the reorder point for determining the maximum stock in order not to over- stock . The results of this study indicate that UD.Cahaya Warehouse Surya in the manage inventory still using manual systems. It can be seen from the report creation and management of inventory that is running slow . Opera- inventory system is a computer -based new system offers is expected to be a solution in problem solving . With the new information system is expected to process data Operagoods , produce information that is accurate , easy to create reports , and reduce operational costs providing the archival data items
